Pahrump, NV (October 27, 2024) Multiple vehicles collided on US Highway 6 in Pahrump on Thursday afternoon, October 24th. At approximately 1:00 p.m., several vehicles collided for unknown reasons near mile marker 22ES in Nye County. The accident left at least one person with injuries, according to reports.
It was just after 1 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, October 24th, as vehicles drove along Highway 6 in Pahrump. Suddenly, several vehicles collided for unknown reasons. Officers reported that the damaged vehicles blocked the highway and caused delays in the area, near mile marker 22ES.
The Nevada Highway Patrol was the first to arrive at the scene and found the damaged vehicles in the middle of the highway. Debris was on the roadway, all around the vehicles. Officers approached the vehicles in search of anyone who had been injured in the accident. Reports indicated that at least one person was found with significant injuries. Paramedics took the injured to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.

The collision is being investigated by the Nevada Highway Patrol. They are working to determine not only what caused this multi-vehicle collision, but also, who was responsible. Some of the vehicles had sustained so much damage that they had to be removed from the highway by tow trucks. The debris that littered the roadway had to be cleared as well.
