The accident occurred around 11:35 a.m. on the transition to southbound Interstate 5, officers reported. One of the vehicles fled the scene, making this a hit-and-run. It was late morning on October 24th as vehicles drove along westbound State Route 4 in Stockton. A Nissan Rogue, an Acura, and a Chrysler suddenly collided on the transition road to southbound Interstate 5, according to reports. Following the accident, one of the vehicles fled the scene. Witnesses began calling 911 about the accident and the vehicle driving away from the scene.
The Stockton Fire Department arrived and found the two remaining vehicles blocking traffic. Inside the vehicles, they found at least one person with injuries. However, it isn’t known at this time, if the victim was taken to a hospital or treated at the scene. Officers investigated the scene and have reported that this investigation remains ongoing.
