Initial reports indicated that a gray Ford and a red Mazda were both traveling on Marygold Avenue in Bloomington, when they collided due to unknown reasons. Following the crash, both vehicles ended up blocking the roadway, causing issues for other motorists, reports indicated.
The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene first and found the two vehicles, both with major damage, in the middle of the roadway. They hurried to the vehicles to see if anyone needed help and found that both occupants were unresponsive. Officers reported that they were both bleeding and it was obvious they needed emergency care quickly. Paramedics were called and arrived at the scene ready to help those who were injured. Both parties were transported to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for their injuries, officers reported.
