Calabasas, CA (July 11, 2024) A frightening one-vehicle crash occurred in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, July 10.
Reports say that California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles Fire Department received word of a vehicle that had flipped and was overturned on the side of the road.
They responded to the scene a little before 1 a.m. and found the car near the 600 block of Stunt Road. A female was trapped inside, and firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free her from the wreckage. It seems she was the only occupant in the vehicle.
EMS rushed the victim to the hospital. Her current condition is unknown at the time of writing. In footage of the rescue, firefighters carried her from the car to the ambulance using a backboard.
CHP is still investigating what caused the crash.
