Parlier, CA (February 6, 2024) Tragedy struck the city of Parlier when a multi-vehicle collision claimed the life of 29-year-old Cesar Corona Carrillo. The devastating crash occurred on Wednesday, January 31st, at East Manning Avenue and South Riverbend Avenue. The California Highway Patrol reported that at least 5 vehicles were involved in this fatal collision.
It was just before 5:00 a.m. in the city of Parlier, west of Reedley. The early morning started just like any other morning. Headlights shone in the early morning darkness as cars traveled to and from destinations. The calm, early morning drive was suddenly disrupted by white Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV that was reportedly driving recklessly. The Jeep crashed into a black Honda Civic and then a white Honda Accord, driven by Carrillo, authorities said. The Honda Civic then slammed into two minivans as the Jeep overturned and burst into flames.

The California Highway Patrol and the Reedley Police Department arrived at the scene with paramedics. They rushed to help anyone in need of medical attention, but sadly, found Carrillo had been killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities.
Investigators are working to determine what caused this fatal, multi-vehicle collision.
