Palmdale, CA (July 31, 2024) On Saturday, July 27, a woman was killed in a rollover crash. It happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. at East Avenue P and 20th Street East.
A Palmdale resident was reportedly driving a 2019 Toyota Camry east on Avenue P east of 15th Street East.
Meanwhile, Darrica Wannamaker (34) was driving a 2006 Kia Spectra in the same direction. For reasons that are still unclear at this time, the Camry crashed into the Spectra. Wannamaker was not wearing a seatbelt and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
California Highway Patrol is still investigating the collision.
