Mead Valley, CA (August 28, 2024) On Tuesday, August 27, three people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in Mead Valley.
The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. near Brown and Oakwood Street. Authorities said that a white sedan ran a stop sign and crashed into a deputy’s patrol car. Then, the sedan fell down an embankment and overturned.
Firefighters extricated two people who were stuck in the sedan and rushed them to the hospital with severe injuries. The deputy whose car was hit was also taken to the hospital, though their condition is unknown at this time.
