The woman was run over and later died, officers said. It happened just before midnight on Camden Avenue.
A pickup truck was doing donuts in a large parking lot on Camden Avenue in San Jose on Friday night. Reports indicated that a total of four people were inside the pickup as the reckless driving ensued. A woman who was in the passenger seat of the truck fell out, according to reports. As the driver continued to do donuts, the vehicle ran over the passenger.

The San Jose Police Department arrived at the scene and found the woman on the ground with life-threatening injuries. She was rushed to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead, officers reported. The driver of the pickup truck and the other two passengers remained at the scene, following this fatal accident. Officers reported that the driver was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Officers arrested the driver and booked them into the Santa Clara County Jail where they face DUI charges as well as vehicular manslaughter charges.
