Indio, CA (July 26, 2024) A terrible accident occurred today on the eastbound I-10 freeway in Indio.
It happened at about 4:29 p.m. south of Atlantic Avenue.
Details are currently scarce, but we know the victim’s car is light blue. It was totaled in the wreck.
Unfortunately, the driver that hit the victim’s car fled the scene.
The Indio Police Department was notified about the collision around 4:35 p.m. and quickly dispatched to the scene to investigate. They are still figuring out what exactly happened.
It’s unclear at this time if anyone sustained injuries, and if so, what the extent of those injuries are.
