Lancaster, CA (July 13, 2024) A multi-vehicle collision in Lancaster caused injuries on Friday afternoon, according to reports. The collision involved two vehicles at the intersection of East Avenue K and 150th Street East. It all happened around 2:00 p.m. in Los Angeles County and caused delays in traffic, officers reported.
A GMC Terrain was moving through the intersection of East Avenue K and 150th Street East. As it moved, a compact vehicle also headed through the intersection. The two vehicles suddenly collided in the middle of the Lancaster intersection. The collision left the two damaged vehicles blocking all eastbound lanes and caused significant traffic delays.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department both arrived at the scene. They found the two vehicles with major damage in the middle of the roadway. Debris was sprinkled all around the scene and traffic was backed up, according to reports. Paramedics went to both vehicles to check the occupants for injuries. There were injuries reported but at this time, it is unknown how many were injured. Nor, has it been reported how extensive those injuries were. Reports indicated that at least one person sustained moderate to severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The damaged vehicles were eventually pushed to the side of the road to allow motorists to get through, according to reports. Officers investigated the scene in an effort to better understand what exactly happened that afternoon. They are also determined to learn who was at fault for this collision.
