(Long Beach, CA) A hit-and-run crash resulted in killing Jeffrey Krajeski in Long Beach.

On Tuesday, April 22 at approximately 11 p.m., the Long Beach Police Department reported the collision that killed Jeffrey Krajeski, 45, occurred on Seventh Street and Channel Drive.

Upon investigating, authorities discovered a 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 drove eastbound on Seventh Street heading onto West Campus Drive when the driver struck Krajeski. The driver of the sedan immediately pulled over to a curb to assist the victim. In a quick moment, a black truck drove over the downed pedestrian. The driver of the black truck failed to stop and fled the scene.

By the time Long Beach Fire Department paramedics arrived at the crash site, they pronounced Krajeski dead as a result of the hit-and-run collision.
