Lake Los Angeles, CA (August 19, 2024) A violent, fatal crash took place in Lake Los Angeles this morning.
At about 11:40 a.m., paramedics responded to the scene at East Palmdale Boulevard and 152nd Street East. There, they pronounced two victims dead at the scene. One of the victims was Jesus Garcia Ibarra, a 30-year-old. The second victim has been identified as Juanita Ruffner, 79.
Early reports say that at least two other people sustained injuries and were treated by paramedics, but it’s unclear if anyone was taken to a hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the crash have not been released yet. An investigation is ongoing.
