Lilia Seno Killed In Head-On Collision On Whitewood Road In Murrieta

Head-on crash seriously injured two on SR-330 in Running Springs.

Murrieta, CA (January 28th, 2024) 83-year-old Lilia Seno lost her life suddenly in a head-on collision in Murrieta on Sunday. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Whitewood Road, not far from Clinton Keith Road, authorities said.

It was early morning on January 28th as two vehicles approached each other on Whitewood Road. Lilia Seno was a passenger in one of the vehicles, officers said. For reasons that are still unknown, the two vehicles collided, head-on.

The Murrieta Police Department arrived at the scene just before 7:00 a.m., along with paramedics. They found 3 victims, including 83-year-old Seno, who were all transported to a local hospital. Sadly, Seno succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at Inland Valley Medical Center, officers reported. The drivers of both vehicles were hospitalized but are said to be in stable condition.

Police officers believe one of the drivers was traveling the wrong way on Whitewood Road at the time of the collision. Witnesses at the scene told police officers that the two vehicles collided head-on. Officers are investigating this fatal collision to try and determine what exactly happened on that Murrieta road that caused this deadly crash.
