Man, 16-Year-Old Killed In Multi-Vehicle Collision In Las Vegas

Two killed in multi-vehicle crash in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas, NV (March 4, 2024) Tragedy struck a Las Vegas intersection on Friday night when a multi-vehicle collision claimed the lives of a man and a teenager. The deadly collision occurred just after 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Vegas Drive and Pyramid Drive, officers reported.

Initial reports indicated that an unknown dark-colored sedan was traveling beside a Ford Crown Victorian on Vegas Drive. According to evidence gathered from the scene, both vehicles were heading east at a fairly high rate of speed. As they approached the intersection of Pyramid Drive, a Nissan Frontier was making a left turn onto Vegas Drive. As the Nissan turned, it slammed into the side of the Ford, officers said.

The driver of the Ford lost control following the impact and crashed into a light pole before stopping. When the two vehicles collided, debris came off and landed on two parked cars in the area, reports indicated. Officers said the unknown dark-colored sedan didn’t stop, but continued down Vegas Drive.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the Ford badly damaged. They rushed to give aid to its occupants, but sadly, found that both the male driver and the 16-year-old passenger had been killed in the collision. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
