Boyle Heights, CA (November 15, 2024) A 77-year-old man named Jose Trevizo was tragically killed in a two-car crash on November 14.
LAFD was alerted to the collision around 9:06 p.m. on Thursday. They arrived at the scene at 3066 E. Fourth Street and South Fresno Street, where they extricated three injured people from the wreckage, according to City News Service.
Jose Trevizo was reportedly one of the drivers involved in the crash. Devastatingly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash was reportedly caused by a speeding Mercedes-Benz. Two men, 18 and 17, were in that vehicle. They were both taken to the hospital in serious condition.
