Jurupa Valley, CA (April 17, 2024) – Mauricio Juarez, 38, and Guillermo Morales, 41, both of Fontana, lost their lives in an apparent crash in Jurupa Valley on Monday, April 8th, 2024.
Deputies responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle in a ravine at the top of a hill near Sierra Avenue and Karen Lane around 3 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered evidence of a crash and an unoccupied car.
Two unresponsive men, identified as Juarez and Morales, were found in a nearby field and were pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by Sgt. Rafael Lopez.
