Multi-Vehicle Collision On I-15 In Temecula Leaves One Dead

Temecula, CA (March 1, 2024) An early morning drive on Interstate 15 turned deadly for one person on Friday morning. Just before 5:00 a.m., a multi-vehicle collision occurred on the freeway in Temecula, tragically claiming one person’s life.

The sun had yet to rise over Temecula as drivers headed to and from their destinations on Interstate 15. Just before 5:00 a.m., near Rainbow Valley Boulevard, there was a collision. Tires squealed and headlights illuminated the darkness as vehicles crashed into each other. The loudness of chaos was followed by the quiet of early morning, as the dust settled on Interstate 15.

The Riverside County Fire Department rushed to the scene, lights flashing and sirens wailing, as they moved as fast as they could. Emergency vehicles came to a screeching halt as paramedics ran to help anyone who was injured in this accident. Sadly, one person did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

Officers do not know what led up to this tragic multi-vehicle collision. They gathered evidence at the scene and are investigating this accident to determine what exactly caused it and who was at fault.
