Multiple Injuries Near Highway 101 Crash In Gilroy

One killed in multi-vehicle crash on I-15 in San Bernardino.

Gilroy, CA (September 17, 2024) A two-vehicle collision in Gilroy on September 13th, left several people injured. The Friday the 13th accident occurred on the Masten Avenue off-ramp from Highway 101. The vehicles collided around 11:16 a.m. in Santa Clara County.

A Chevy Silverado pickup truck and a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck were both on the Masten Avenue off-ramp when they suddenly collided. The impact left one of the pickups on the shoulder of the highway, while the other one came to a stop in the median. Reports indicated that the Chevrolet pickup hit a light post as well.

Emergency crews arrived and found several people with injuries at the scene. An unknown number of victims were transported to a local hospital to receive treatment, according to reports.
