Desert Hot Springs, CA (August 24, 2023) – One person died tragically on Wednesday, August 23rd, in a flaming car accident on Little Morongo Road in Desert Hot Springs. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported at about 5:30 a.m. near the intersection with 15th Avenue.
Desert Hot Springs Police responded to the scene to find a burning vehicle, with one victim trapped inside. Multiple vehicles were involved in the accident, but details about the number and make of the vehicles has been withheld thus far.
