Orange, CA (August 18, 2023) – At least one person died on Thursday, August 17th, in a motorcycle collision on Garden Grove Freeway (22) in Orange, CA. The collision took place in the northbound lanes, near the SR-22 transition at around 8:07 p.m.
A motorcycle and a bicyclist were involved in the collision. A second cyclist called 911 to report his girlfriend had been hit. Both the girlfriend and the motorcyclist were unconscious as a result.

Paramedics responded to the scene promptly, and began to assist the victims with injury. But at least one person, died in the crash, reportedly the cyclist.
