SACRAMENTO, CA (SEPTEMBER 18, 2023): One person was left hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in West Sacramento this morning.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the incident occurred at around 8:47 a.m., when a silver Mazda and a white Corvette collided under unknown circumstances on the westbound side of the freeway near West Capitol Avenue.

Paramedics responded to the scene and transported at least one individual to an area hospital for treatment. A second individual was also treated for injuries at the scene.
The condition of the injured remains unknown as of yet.
Towage was required at the scene for both vehicles. The cause of the collision has not been made available. Authorities continue to investigate this two-vehicle crash on Interstate 80.
