Discovery Bay, CA (November 14, 2023) – At least one individual was sent to the hospital on Tuesday, November 14th, following a severe crash on Marsh Creek Road in Discovery Bay, California. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the accident took place at around 9:00 a.m. near the 26876 address at the intersection with Fertado Lane.
According to the CHP, a black 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe and a silver GMC pickup truck collided at the intersection. The SUV lost control and went off the road, landing in a ditch.

A woman in one of the vehicles reported minor injuries to her head, face, and legs. No major injuries were reported in the accident. Paramedics from the Contra Costa County Fire Department arrived on scene and transported the woman to the hospital for care. Tow trucks also responded to the scene to remove both disabled vehicles.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash on Marsh Creek Road.
