Baldwin Park, CA (October 24, 2023) – At least one person sustained injuries on Monday, October 23 following a van collision on Interstate 210 outside of Baldwin Park, California. Reports of the incident came in around 1:34 p.m. indicating it had occurred on the interstate near Lone Hill Avenue.
According to police reports a gray Volkswagen Jetta and a white Mercedes van were the two vehicles involved in the accident. The vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of I210, coming to a stop afterward and blocking the HOV and No.1 Lanes. The Volkswagen Jetta was noted as having serious front-end damage, so it is likely that it rear ended the van.
Police were able to assist in moving the vehicles to the shoulder of the interstate, reopening most traffic lanes, by 1:51 p.m. Foothill Towing company soon arrived to remove the damaged vehicles.
