Pasadena 210 Fwy. Crash: Several Vehicles, 1 Dead

One killed in two-vehicle crash with box truck in Las Vegas.

Pasadena, CA (July 5, 2024)

A frightening multi-vehicle crash occurred on the Fourth of July that involved a UPS truck, multiple cars, and at least three semi-trucks.

At about 11:45 p.m. that evening, police responded to Madre Street in Arcadia on the westbound freeway. There, two sedans and two semi-trucks had clearly collided and were blocking the middle lanes. They saw several other damaged cars surrounding the scene, one being a white Honda Civic.

Another car had been thrown onto a hill, and firefighters had to free a person inside. Oil was spread across the road and giant concrete fragments littered the area.

There was at least one victim who was taken to the hospital and tragically pronounced dead.

California Highway Patrol closed all lanes of the freeway as they investigated this terrible crash and cleaned up.
