Indio, CA (September 5, 2023) – 50 year-old Pheonix resident, Rafael Gomez-Gallardo, was tragically killed on Friday, September 1, in a car accident in Indio, CA. The accident occurred around 4:54 p.m. on Interstate 10 and Golf Center Parkway.
Rafael had been walking on Interstate 10 when he was struck by a vehicle. All attempts were made to save his life, but sadly Gallardo was pronounced dead at the scene.

The details and cause of the crash are unclear at this time. No other injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
