San Diego, CA (July 2, 2024) A car slammed into another vehicle in San Diego in the early hours of Sunday morning. It was about 1:30 a.m. when the San Diego Police Department responded to an alert about the crash.
The collision took place near the intersection of 2400 J St. and 24th Street in the Sherman Heights neighborhood. According to reports, there was a car stopped for unknown reasons facing eastbound on the road. This vehicle was a 1998 Honda.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old driving a 2015 BMW was traveling eastbound as well. For unknown reasons, he slammed into the Honda. The impact pushed the Honda into two other parked cars.
Unfortunately, there were five passengers in the BMW at the time. They all sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital. The driver of the BMW suffered an open fracture in his leg.
At this time, it’s unclear if anyone was in the parked Honda that was involved in this crash.
