San Diego County, CA (September 17, 2024) A two-vehicle collision in San Diego County sent one person to the hospital on Monday morning, September 16th, 2024, and left two others with minor injuries. The accident occurred on Interstate 8, not far from Taylor Street, shortly after midnight.
A black Porsche SUV and a white pickup truck collided on Interstate 8 in San Diego County. The impact caused the pickup truck to rollover. It came to a stop on its roof, authorities reported. Both vehicles sustained serious damage in the collision and reports indicated that debris and glass were all over the interstate.
San Diego Fire-Rescue Department hurried to the scene and found the two vehicles in the middle of the freeway. Reports indicated that the three people were found with injuries at the scene, however two of those only sustained minor injuries. The third person had serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, via ambulance.
Officers requested tow trucks to the scene to remove the two damaged vehicles. The pickup truck was rolled back to its wheels before being hauled away, according to reports. Officers at the scene investigated and are working to determine what caused this two-vehicle collision on Interstate 8 in San Diego County. They are also determined to learn who was at fault.
