Bakersfield, CA (July 22, 2024) Two people were killed and one seriously injured in a terrible car accident in Bakersfield on Saturday, July 20.
The crash occurred west of Adobe Road on Buena Vista Boulevard at about 1:59 a.m.
A Chevrolet Silverado was heading westbound on Buena Vista while a Chevrolet Tahoe was heading eastbound.
For unknown reasons, the two Chevrolets collided head-on. An investigation is ongoing to figure out exactly what happened.
The driver of the Tahoe was 52 years old, while the driver of the Silverado was 45 years old.
A 39-year-old man was a passenger in the Tahoe, and he was taken to a hospital with injuries. However, it’s unclear how severe those injuries are.
Reports have not said if anyone else was involved at this time.
