Bakersfield, CA (November 21, 2023) – 68 year old Stephen Georgi was recently identified as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on Hughes Lane in Bakersfield, California on September 26th. Police reports indicate that the accident took place around 7:40 p.m. at the intersection between Hughes Lane and Wilson Road.
Stephen Georgi was crossing the road for an unknown reason when a southbound vehicle struck him, knocking him down in the roadway. The driver stopped to call for help and cooperate with authorities.

Paramedics quickly arrived and attempted to save Georgi, but his injuries were too severe and he later succumbed to his injuries.
