Three Injured In Pyramid Way Collision In Sparks, Nevada

Two injured in two-vehicle crash in Hesperia.

Sparks, NV (April 16, 2024) Airbags deployed, tow trucks were called and a Sparks, Nevada intersection was blocked, following a two-vehicle collision. The collision took place at the intersection of Farr Lane and Pyramid Way on Monday afternoon, April 15th. Three people were injured in this collision, but all are expected to make a full recovery, officers said.

A Toyota was heading east on Farr Lane as it approached the intersection of Pyramid Way. At the same time, a Ford SUV was traveling south on Pyramid Way, approaching Farr Lane. As both vehicles reached the intersection, the Ford drove through a red light as it attempted to make a left turn, and slammed into the Toyota. Airbags in both vehicles deployed and debris was thrown all over the intersection, officers said.

The Nevada State Police arrived at the intersection and found the two damaged vehicles blocking traffic. They hurried to check on the vehicles’ occupants to see if anyone needed medical attention. The driver of the Ford had sustained moderate to major injuries in the accident and two people inside the Toyota were also injured. Paramedics loaded all three into ambulances and transported them to a local hospital to receive treatment. All three are expected to make a full recovery.
