Two-Vehicle Crash On Highway 101 In Geyserville Kills One

One killed, several injured in Geyserville crash on Highway 101.

Geyserville, CA (October 14, 2024) A two-vehicle collision in Geyserville claimed one life on Saturday afternoon, October 12th, 2024. The collision occurred just before 1:00 p.m. on Highway 101, not far from Canyon Road.

At approximately 12:49 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, two vehicles suddenly collided in the northbound lane of Highway 101. Initial reports indicated that a Honda Accord was speeding along the highway as it approached another vehicle. To make matters worse, it was rainy, causing the roadways to be hazardous. The driver of the Honda suddenly lost control, according to reports, and slid across the wet, grassy median on the highway. The Honda ended up in the northbound lanes, where it was hit by a Subaru Outback.

Emergency crews arrived within minutes and found the two vehicles with major damage, blocking the northbound lane. They hurried to the two vehicles, ready to give medical attention to anyone in need. Unfortunately, they found a passenger in the Honda with fatal injuries. Sadly, they were pronounced dead at the scene. Five other people sustained serious injuries in the collision, officers reported.
