Willows, CA (July 19, 2024) On Tuesday, July 16, a tragic single-vehicle crash claimed the lives of two men.
The collision occurred shortly before 10 p.m. The driver, 44-year-old Rodney Yeager of Glenn, was heading north on County Road X in a Ford F-250.
For unknown reasons, Yeager did not slow down or turn when approaching the intersection of County Road X and County Road 34. He drove across County Road 34 and crashed into an embankment, California Highway Patrol reported.
Yeager had a passenger in his car: A 45-year-old man from Willows named Lucas Nunes. Tragically, paramedics pronounced both dead at the scene.
Officials are still investigating the circumstances surrounding this sad crash.
