Fresno, CA (November 9, 2023) – A woman was put in the hospital on Wednesday, November 8th, after being hit in a serious pedestrian accident on Blackstone Avenue in Fresno, California. According to ABC 30 News, the accident took place at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the intersection with Ashlan Avenue.
According to police reports the woman was crossing Blackstone avenue at an established crosswalk when an unnamed black vehicle struck her. The woman was severely injured from the impact, and was down in the roadway. Unfortunately, the driver of the unknown vehicle did not stop to help the woman, but instead elected to flee the scene of the accident turning this into a hit-and-run.

Thankfully, a third party contacted authorities and paramedics soon arrived to help the injured woman. They transported her to the hospital for treatment of her injuries and she is expected to survive.
The local police are investigating this pedestrian accident on Blackstone Avenue as a hit-and-run crime. They are looking for any and all information regarding the accident or the driver of the black car that fled the scene.
