Santa Clara, CA (September 3, 2023) 2 people were injured in a crash early Saturday morning, according to the Santa Clara Police Department. Lt. Mike Crescini of the Santa Clara Police Department, said it happened before 5:45 a.m.

It all took place at the intersection of Bellomy Street and Lafayette Street. Lt. Crescini said authorities arrived at the scene to find a car with three occupants. It seemed that the car had crashed into something and two of the three people were taking to a local hospital for injuries they sustained during the collision.
Police officers said that it appears that alcohol played a role in this crash. They are currently investigating the accident.
