SANTA MONICA, CA (August 9, 2022) – Actress Jules Leblanc was involved in an accident when a DUI driver struck her with a vehicle, then fled the scene.

Leblanc posted photos and video of her injuries on TikTok, including images of bruises and a swollen, bloody nose.
“I just wanted to come on here and show you guys a few pictures and also to clear up that I am not at the hospital anymore. I feel like a few people were confused by that,” the actress said.
The accident occurred when Leblanc was out with her friends in Santa Monica on the night of July 23. Santa Monica Police officers arrested a 19-year-old for hit-and-run and suspected DUI causing bodily injury.
Her team issued the message, “Please use this incident as a reminder to drive carefully and drink responsibly at all times for the safety of others. If you are ever out drinking and need help getting home, please call a friend, family member, rideshare service, or non-emergency assistance number to get home in a safe manner. Driving drunk is never worth the risk. Stay safe.”
We’re glad to hear that Jules Leblanc is recovering and that the suspect has been apprehended in this case.
