SAN DIEGO, CA (June 8, 2022) – A DUI suspect was arrested Monday morning after crashing into the Operacaffe restaurant patio in the Gaslamp district in San Diego.
KUSI News reports that Operacaffe, located at 835 Fourth Avenue, had already been closed for the night, so no patrons were injured.
The driver crashed into the patio at around 1:45 a.m., says the San Diego Police Department.
Officers only identified the driver as a 28-year-old male and took him to the hospital for evaluation before arresting him and booking him into jail.
