Fresno, CA (December 5, 2023) 22-year-old Elijah Aragon was killed on Monday, December 4th, in a 2-vehicle collision on Highway 99 in Fresno. The California Highway Patrol received the call about the accident right around 2:00 a.m.
They arrived at the scene on Highway 99 and found a Lexus ES350 and a Nissan Versa that had collided. Officers said that Elijah Aragon lost control of his vehicle following the initial crash and went off the road, hitting a tree.

The driver of the Nissan, 28-year-old Luis Ochoa Lopez, along with his passenger, was uninjured in the crash. Officers noticed that Lopez seemed intoxicated and he was later arrested for suspicion of DUI.
Aragon, sadly, died in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. Authorities called a medical examiner and a tow truck was also called to remove vehicles from the roadway.
