Soledad, CA (September 22, 2023) Gabriela Aguilera, 25, was arrested on Wednesday evening, September 20, 2023, for drunk driving, along with other charges. The Soledad Police Department reported that Aguilera had her 4-year-old in the vehicle with her.

Aguilera, of Soledad, lost control of her vehicle while turning onto West Street and crashed into a PG&E substation concrete wall. Officers at the scene discovered that Aguilera’s child was also in the vehicle and was not restrained. The child sustained moderate injuries in the collision and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Soledad Police Department said Aguilera’s blood alcohol level was almost 2 times the legal limit. She was arrested and charged with DUI, child endangerment, and driving without a license.
Aguilera was first taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries before being booked into the Monterey County Jail.
