Orange, CA (October 2, 2024) A woman named Minerva Arroyo-Lozada, 40, was tragically killed in a crash in Orange on Sunday, September 29. Even worse, her daughter and her daughter’s friend were both hospitalized with major injuries.
Orange Police Department reported that Arroyo-Lozada’s 18-year-old boyfriend crashed the car after running a red light. He was later found to have a blood-alcohol level that was more than twice the legal limit.
The 13-year-old girl who is friends with Arroyo-Lozada’s daughter was hospitalized in serious condition. The daughter was initially critical, but was upgraded to “serious” on Monday.
