Kearny Mesa, CA (October 17, 2023) A motorcyclist was injured on Sunday following a collision with a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was placed under arrest for DUI, according to authorities. The collision occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Convoy Street.

The driver of a Chrysler 300 made a left turn directly in front of an oncoming motorcycle. The two collided and the motorcyclist was thrown from his motorcycle. He sustained injuries to both legs and told paramedics he couldn’t feel them. He was taken to a local hospital to receive treatment.
The Chrysler driver was trying to turn into the Adult Emporium parking lot at the time of the collision. Officers conducted a sobriety test, which he failed. He was arrested by the San Diego Police for DUI and will face other charges as well.
