Irvine, CA (October 8, 2024) Two young kids and three adults were hospitalized after a DUI wrong-way crash on October 6 on the 73 Toll Road.
Around midnight, a Toyota Camry struck a Lincoln driving south near Campus Drive. Two young children and their mother were hospitalized with “significant” injuries. The driver and passenger in the Lincoln were also hospitalized.
The wrong-way driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. It has not been confirmed yet which car the mother and her children were traveling in.
