One Dead, One Arrested In Las Vegas Valley DUI Collision On I-215

2 Killed and 2 arrested for DUI following Miramar crash on Interstate 15.

Las Vegas, NV (March 8, 2024) Early this morning, in the Las Vegas Valley, a two-vehicle collision claimed the life of a woman on Interstate 215. The driver responsible for this fatal accident was intoxicated at the time of the crash and arrested, according to police officers.

Street lights and business signs glowed in the darkness of early morning in the Southwest Las Vegas Valley this morning. The quiet morning was shattered by the sound of metal colliding and tires squealing as two vehicles smashed into each other near the southbound Durango flyover.

Emergency crews responded to the 911 call at approximately 4:15 a.m. on Interstate 215. They found a woman in one of the vehicles with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics did everything they could, but sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of one of the vehicles was found to be intoxicated, officers reported. They arrested him at the scene and he faces several charges.

An investigation into this fatal accident is ongoing as officers determine what exactly happened. Anyone with any information regarding this collision should contact the police.
