Greenfield, CA (July 31, 2023) A pedestrian was walking down Elm Street in Greenfield on Saturday night when they were hit by a car. According to investigators, Araceli Espinoza, 41, was driving driving on Elm Street while under the influence of drugs when she hit the pedestrian.

It turned out that Espinoza had an active warrant out for her arrest. Authorities found that she was driving with a suspended license, was on probation for DUI, and also had drugs in her possession at the time of the accident.
The victim was transported to a hospital and will make a full recovery.
