NAPA, CA (June 9, 2022) – 18-year-old Sundari Willow Rose Lauher of St. Helena was arrested Sunday for suspicion of DUI after crashing her car and injuring two of her passengers.
Napa Valley Register reports that the single-vehicle accident occurred around 12:05 a.m. on the Silverado Trail south of Yountville Cross Road. There were five occupants in the 2007 Honda Civic that Lauher was driving. Lauher was treated at the hospital before being arrested for felony DUI causing injury.
Another passenger, 18-year-old Bella Azalea Cazarez, sustained major injuries in the crash and was also treated at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
The third passenger treated at the hospital for injuries was 18-year-old Estrella Gomez, of Vallejo. The other two passengers, both 17 and 18 years old, sustained only minor injuries and were not taken to the hospital.
The accident occurred when Lauher lost control of the Honda on Silverado Trail and flipped the car into a utility pole.
Lauher was booked into Napa County Jail and held on $100,000 bail Sunday afternoon.
