The motorcyclist sustained injuries in the accident, according to reports. It all happened around 11:26 a.m. at the intersection of Bradshaw Road and Florin Road.
A silver and black motorcycle was heading through the Vineyard area of Sacramento County on Florin Road. As it traveled, a black Kia Optima collided with it at the intersection of Bradshaw Road. The accident happened just before 11:30 a.m. and the two damaged vehicles blocked the roadway, according to reports. The motorcycle went down in lanes of traffic, causing to rider to roll to a stop.
Emergency crews quickly arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist on the ground with injuries. They were taken to a local hospital where they received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries, reports indicated.
The Kia had front-end damage caused by the accident and the motorcycle had sustained major damage. Both vehicles had to be removed from the roadway by tow trucks, following the investigation.
