California Highway Patrol officers arrived at the scene and found the rider on the ground. Officers closed every lane of the freeway except for lane #5, and issued a SigAlert, encouraging motorists to take an alternate route. They questioned the driver of the other vehicle and are working to piece together what caused this deadly accident in Studio City. A tow truck was called to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles and a team swept up the debris and glass that littered the roadway.
