Highway 50 Crash In Sacramento Leaves Motorcyclist Injured

Five people injured in a collision between a car and motorcycle in Las Vegas.

Sacramento, CA (March 18, 2024) A crash between a motorcycle and a Mini Cooper on March 15th left a motorcyclist with injuries. It happened near the 65th Street off-ramp on Highway 50 in Sacramento, according to authorities.

A black Mini Cooper collided with a Kawasaki motorcycle on Highway 50 just before 1:00 p.m. The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident caused the motorcyclist to go over the side of an overpass on the freeway.

Officers arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist on the ground and the motorcycle severely damaged on the roadway. Paramedics rushed to the motorcyclist’s side and ended up taking him to a local hospital via ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The motorcycle had to be hauled away and crews worked to clear the road of debris, officers said.

The accident is still being investigated as officers determine who was at fault and what actually caused this collision on Highway 50 in Sacramento.
