El Dorado County, CA (October 11, 2024) 46-year-old John Kelsey lost his life in a motorcycle collision in El Dorado County. It happened on the evening of Monday, October 7th, 2024, when Kelsey was struck by a Toyota on Greenstone Road.

John Kelsey was riding a motorcycle on Greenstone Road in El Dorado County on Monday evening, October 7th, 2024. For reasons that remain a mystery, Kelsey collided with a Toyota Corolla at approximately 6:50 p.m. The impact threw Kelsey from the motorcycle and sent him rolling across the roadway, reports indicated.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found Kelsey with life-threatening injuries. They requested a medical helicopter and the California Highway Patrol’s H-24 air ambulance transported Kelsey to Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Shortly after arriving, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Officers continue to investigate this accident in an attempt to uncover what exactly caused it. They are also working to determine who was at fault for this deadly El Dorado County collision.
