Kyle Brimer, 17, Killed In Tragic Redondo Beach Motorcycle Crash On Pacific Coast Highway

Redondo Beach, CA (January 11, 2024) 17-year-old Kyle Brimer lost his life on the Pacific Coast Highway in Redondo Beach, officers reported. The motorcycle collision occurred at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Carnelian Street at approximately 2:17 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10th.

Brimer was heading south on Pacific Coast Highway towards Carnelian Street on his motorcycle. Simultaneously, a sedan began turning west onto Carnelian Street and the two collided. The driver of the sedan, identified only as a woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene where they found the motorcycle completely destroyed and debris littered across the intersection. The impact was so strong that the airbags on the sedan deployed and a large dent could be seen on the passenger side of the sedan, according to Sky5 images. 17-year-old Brimer was lying near the intersection, unresponsive.

He was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, Brimer succumbed to those injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

While officers with the California Highway Patrol do not suspect drugs or alcohol to be a factor in this devastating accident, they are investigating to determine exactly what happened. They are set on finding answers and to learn why a 17-year-old lost his life in this horrible accident on Pacific Coast Highway.
