LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (SEPTEMBER 18, 2023): One person is dead following a crash in Lucerne Valley involving a motorcyclist and a pickup truck Saturday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 3:45 p.m. on Old Woman Springs Road near Santa Fe Fire Road, when a motorcyclist attempted to pass a pickup truck making a left turn and was impacted.

Emergency personnel responding to the scene discovered that the rider was ejected from his vehicle and suffered critical injuries. Paramedics attempted life-saving efforts, but unfortunately the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
